About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Director - Food and Beverage in Jumeirah Al Naseem. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

• Oversee organizational and administrative functions in the Food & Beverage Department to ensure alignment with strategy and Jumeirah standards.
• Participate in preparing the Annual Business Plan to adequately represent Food & Beverage operations.
• Lead the development of flexible strategies to attract new and potential customers and improve business levels.
• Attend department briefings and monthly meetings to review events and communicate updates to colleagues.
• Delegate accountability and decision-making authority to outlet managers for their operations to benefit the outlets.
• Build solid working relationships with management across departments to support operational goals.
• Build an efficient and competent team by actively engaging in training, coaching, and development of colleagues and Outlet Managers. Utilize appraisals and performance management tools to provide efficient and effective leadership.
• Contribute to developing ideas and sales strategies to enhance Food & Beverage productivity and revenue. 
• Foster a customer-centric culture, ensuring colleagues understand their roles in achieving departmental objectives and meeting guest expectations.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years senior management experience in a large Food & Beverage operation within a luxury property, including fine dining & gastronomic restaurants.
• International experience is essential; experience in the Middle East is desirable. 
• Strong leadership skills.
• Culinary background/knowledge.
