Title and Summary
Director EEMEA Network PartnershipsOverview
• the Director of EEMEA (Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa) Network Partnerships, will have direct oversight of the EEMEA Mastercard cross border services (MA XBS) partner network and team, comprised of banks and NBFIs in 60+ countries. Manages existing direct/indirect connections to clearings and partner relationships, while also expanding the network in line with strategic network and product objectives.
Responsibilities
• Oversee all MA XBS network partnerships and last mile connectivity into EEMEA payment schemes.
• Drive the expansion and the improvement of the MA XBS EEMEA network in line with the network and product roadmap strategy
• Assess opportunities for direct participation in payment schemes in collaboration with the relevant Mastercard Transaction Services teams and lead the execution of the related projects.
• Ensure redundancy throughout the network, in all key markets of operation.
• Lead EEMEA execution of the strategy to increase the number of partners that accept settlement in pay-out currency.
• Support the regional stakeholders and the Transfer Solutions commercialization team to ensure with market insight and developments
• Navigate across cultures and geographies and leverages strong relationships with key groups across Mastercard to gain support and buy-in from regional stakeholders
• Drive institutionalized knowledge through the use of consistent documentation (e.g., support documents) across all processes to support knowledge management and ensure consistency and repeatability across projects
• Represent and participate in EEMEA initiatives, working groups or taskforce

• Has proven experience in people management and leadership
• Has experience in international payments, foreign exchange, cash management, settlement and reconciliation processes
• Has 10+ years of partnerships experience in the payments industry.
• Has intimate knowledge of payment systems, schemes, and structures.
• Has experience working in correspondent banking and/or transaction banking.
• Has proven success developing and managing payment partnerships.
