The Regional Acceptance Solutions Sales team is responsible for growing the acceptance and usage of Visa Acceptance Platform and Acceptance Solutions throughout the CEMEA (Central Europe Middle East and Africa) region. The team is responsible for working with acquirers and payment service providers as well as other companies accepting or facilitating payments to add them to our growing client portfolio. This team works closely with local Business Development and Account Executive teams across the region to provide specialized sales support in customer engagements. 


This position is responsible for developing  of strategy and targeting for the nominated partner segments for new volumes across CEMA and leading Visa’s partner relationships by deepening and expanding our partnerships with global & regional ISV’s and other technology platforms to become payment enablers and distributors of Visa solutions. The objective is to identify, connect and grow our partner ecosystem and to jointly engage with merchants and acquirers to adopt Visa Acceptance Solutions across specialized verticals. Examples of partnerships include Adobe, SAP, IBM, Oracle, Salesforce, Shopify, Ingenico, Pax, Softspace among others. Examples of target merchants include online marketplaces, digital platforms, digital wallets, retail, education, healthcare, hospitality and lodging.


You will be measured on your direct contribution to the overall performance of the Visa business, including transaction and payment volumes, overall revenues and growth targets based on an agreed partner portfolio.


Key areas of responsibility includes:


Tech partnerships
•    Development of strategy and targeting for the key partners and segments to drive new volumes and acceptance solutions revenue growth across CEMEA
•    Managing key ISV and CNP and CP Tech partnerships along with integrating with global teams who manage these relationships globally
•    Working with partners to proactively identify new leads, develop pipeline and work with sales to win new opportunities  
•    Be first point of contact for clients and manage stakeholders internally and externally related to partnership
•    Participate and or lead calls associated with client implementations related to partner integration and solution which may include internal and external clients
•    Collaborate with internal Visa teams and partners to manage the deliverables


Reporting and Communication
•    Build and track MS Dynamics pipeline with sales related to tech partner deals
 •    Have a high degree of 'figure it out' factor, and self sufficiency, while also reporting into management regularly and provides timely updates


General
•    Build and enhance positive working relationships with Visa clients and internal stakeholders, i.e. Product Development, Technical Sales Engineers, and Account Management
•    Provide training and share knowledge to internal and cross-functional teams and external clients, as applicable
•    Negotiate amongst various Visa teams and coordinate resources to ensure delivery on commitments
•    Contribute to department processes and procedures


This role will assist with building and strengthening Cybersource’s Partner ecosystem and is essential to Cybersource’s Partner Program growth and regional adoption. The successful candidate will get first-hand experience in building a diverse and highly functional ecosystem of partners with complimenting solutions to serve the merchants and acquirers.
 



Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of work experience in client or partner facing roles in CEMEA payment industry
• Strategically driven leader with hands on mentality, curiosity and lifelong learning is part of your DNA
• Results focused, must have deep relationship management experience in a solution based payments landscape in CEMEA
• Solution focused. Connect the dots and leverage Visa best practices, unafraid to make timely decisions in ambiguous, high pressure situations, quick to adapt, recover and reset priorities in changing circumstances
• Experience in working with technology solution providers and payment facilitators in card not present and card present environment
• Strong analytical, problem determination and customer relations skills
• Strong written and verbal communication and excellent presentation skills
• Demonstrate ability to articulate technical terms or processes into business language
• Ability to follow processes, procedures and adjust to a continuously changing environment
• Excellent time management, organization, and planning skills are essential
• Occasional travel to other Visa offices and onsite client visits

  • Flexible working hours are expected as the candidate would need to attend/organize calls with other time zones including other markets in CISSSEE/Middle East/Africa as well as with global team in San Francisco
