Archirodon has been awarded a major Oil & Gas EPC project in UAE, and is currently building a team of experienced Lead Engineers, who will be based in our UAE office and lead the multidiscipline Engineering of the project.


Project includes the detailed engineering and design, quality assurance and control, procurement/supply, interface management, construction/installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning/start-up of Hydrocarbon & non-Hydrocarbon systems and management including all works required for the job completion.  The main objective of this brownfield project is to increase the production handling capacity by adding a new Production Train and associated facilities at an existing Central Degassing Station and a new gas lift compressor train at another existing Central Degassing Station.


Role Summary:


The Digital Transformation Leader requires to have IT experience and be responsible for the implementation strategy, supervision and delivery of the systems implementation at the Oil and Gas Division and Projects level. This includes 3D modelling and smart plant software implementation, materials handling and fabrication applications, as requires skills such on present IT technologies, engineering and procurement systems software, data management and migration, operations management, for the Oil & Gas EPC and EPCM projects.


The Digital Transformation Leader will report to Project Manager & Project Engineering Manager


Key Roles & Responsibilities 


  • Digital Transformation Strategy framework study, analysis and agreement with stakeholders.
  • Execution of agreed strategy at Division as well at Project levels supported by the Smart Plant Administrators
  • Select if the appropriate applications to be used and support the execution at operation level
  • Support the selected applications during the complete project cycle (Design, Fabrication and Commissioning Stage)
  • Data Bases development / update at Division and Project level and ensure smooth handling of these
  • Project handover level compilation and reconciliation
  • Management and training of the support teams

What you will need to have:


  • Minimum of 15 years of Leader / Managerial experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in the oil & gas or power industry, in similar position.
  • BE or equivalent in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in working for Design and Construction activities under Smart Plant environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IT and available related software, Data Base Management, and Smart Engineering.
  • Strategy development and execution
  • Experience in Smart Plant, Oracle, AVEVA etc. is must
