MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To provide appropriate professional medical nutrition therapy and councelling to inpatients, outpatients and family members to ensure that the health needs of patients are cared for and improve lifestyles.
To ensure patient safety and quality by monitoring food service operations to ensure compliance with nutritional and sanitation standards

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Bachelors Degree in Nutritional Sciences or Dietetics or eligability to be licensed as a Dietician in the UAE

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years’ experience as a licensed Dietician in own country or UAE
At least 2 years’ experience as a licensed Dietician in the UAE within a acute care facility (hospital experience preferred)

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications Demonstrate the ability to plan and execute healthy menus Design and implementation of educational programmes Knowledge and understanding of food service operations, including food preparation, sanitation and procurement
