Dubai Holding is looking to hire a Senior Manager – Network Operations reporting to the Director – Infrastructure at the Corporate Office in the Information Technology department. The role holder will be responsible, the position plays a crucial role in supporting the Dubai Holding Technology function in the delivery of the network services portfolio and other associated services through internal teams, third parties and relevant use of technology.

Key Accountabilities:
- Oversee the management of the organization's core network infrastructure, including switches, routers, cloud and data centres. Ensure seamless connectivity, redundancy, and efficient data flow across the network. Oversee the end-to-end networking environment, including provisioning, scaling, monitoring, and security.
- Proactively ensure the recoverability, stability, resilience, and scale of all network services across the organisation, and make sure services are available, cost optimised and fit for purpose.
- Responsible for the operation, progression and life-cycle management of network components, resources and related service offerings within agreed budgets, service levels, risk, and compliance frameworks.
- Monitor and analyse system performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address scalability challenges.
- Manage the organization's wireless network, providing reliable and secure connectivity to users and devices. Implement best practices for coverage, capacity, and security of the wireless infrastructure.
- Manage remote access solutions to enable secure connectivity for remote and mobile users.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Provide input into the network operations budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness while meeting operational needs. Identify opportunities for cost savings and optimisation.
- Implement best practices for monitoring, and response to ensure high availability and reliability of the network. Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans.
- Manage network-related projects from inception to completion. Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Act as a key stakeholder in validating new networking solutions, ensuring alignment with the organisation's architecture roadmap and security standards.
- Ensure all networking solutions adhere to rigorous security and compliance best practices and incorporating required architecture principles and design.
- Subject matter expert providing technical leadership to quickly attribute root cause, resolve issues and restore services to minimize and contain any business impacts.
- Provides engineering and leadership support for technology projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with Enterprise Architecture, Security, and Application functions to promote standard best practices across the organization
Who we are looking for:
- Proven track record of at least 8 - 10 years in leading and managing an enterprise network environment, with experience in cloud networking.
- Demonstrated expertise in network management.
- Previous experience working in large corporate environments.
- Comprehensive understanding of networking components
Education / Professional Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field industry standard technical certifications
Technical Competencies:
- Hands-on experience with a wide range of technologies - Juniper, Aruba, F5, Cisco technologies.
- Profound understanding of network protocols, topologies, and architecture.
- Strong experience with network security practices and technologies.
- Expertise in managing complex, multi-site networks, including LAN, WAN, and wireless technologies.
