DevOps Lead

We are seeking a seasoned DevSecOps Lead to head our DevSecOps department. This pivotal role requires a blend of expertise in security, development, and operations within cloud environments. The DevSecOps Lead will be responsible for integrating security into DevOps processes, overseeing the secure design, implementation, scaling, and management of cloud infrastructure across various hyper scalers including OCI, GCP, and others

• Lead DevOps teams in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and workflows primarily on GCP, OCI, and other cloud providers as needed.
• Develop and oversee automation frameworks and scripts to enhance deployment processes and minimize manual tasks.
• Monitor system performance continuously and implement optimizations for scalability, security, and efficiency.
• Enforce strict compliance with all relevant security guidelines and practices, conducting regular security assessments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security and best practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Direct and refine CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and dependable deployment across various environments.
• Provide strategic leadership on cloud solution implementations and integrations, focusing on venture needs and technological advancements.
• Lead incident management and detailed root cause analyses to mitigate infrastructure issues.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies to foster innovation and ensure cutting-edge infrastructure and processes.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps or DevSecOps with significant leadership responsibilities in DevSecOps, preferably involving OCI and GCP
• Deep understanding of cloud security architecture, compliance, and risk management.
• Proficient with security and automation tools (e.g., Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
• Proven ability to lead teams, solve complex security issues, and implement strategic initiatives.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
• Certifications related to cloud security (e.g., CCSP, CISSP, GCP, Oracle Cloud) are highly desirable.
