Job Description

Job Summary


The role of the Development Director is overseeing projects from conception through completion. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, project management, and strong leadership skills.



The Development Director is responsible for leading, planning, and executing real estate projects. This position involves managing a team of professionals, overseeing all aspects of development, including financing, site selection, design, zoning, and construction. The Development Director plays a key role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while aligning with the company's strategic objectives.



Director, Facility Management Director and contractors.
 



Strategic Planning:
   - Develop and implement long-term strategic development plans that align with company goals.
   - Conduct market research and feasibility studies to inform project development decisions.
 



Financial Oversight:
   - Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
   - Identify funding sources and develop financial models for financing projects.
 



Regulatory Compliance:



Project Leadership:
   - Oversee multiple real estate development projects from inception to completion.
   - Collaborate with all stakeholders, including COO, consultants, architects, Engineering Director, Projects 
   - Ensure compliance with local regulations, zoning laws, and building codes.
   - Obtain necessary permits and approvals to proceed with development projects.


 



Job Requirements:
 




  • Bachelor degree in: real estate, Architecture, Civil, construction management, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Strong financial with experience in budgeting and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholders.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Years of experience in the same field: Minimum of 10 years of experience in Grade A Real Estate Development Companies IS A PLUS
  • Computer skills required: Very Good in Microsoft Office Skills, Autocad, ERP/SAP System.
 

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:



Photoshop, IPMA/PMP certified.
