DESIGN MANAGER (PROJECT MANAGEMENT)

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead our design team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in multi-unit residential and hospitality design, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality projects. This role requires excellent leadership skills, creativity, and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee and mentor the design team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Develop and implement design strategies that align with project goals and client expectations.
• Manage multiple design projects from concept through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design integrity throughout the construction process.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their vision and requirements.
• Present design concepts and proposals to clients, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments.
• Lead the creation of design concepts, presentations, and detailed documentation for multi-unit residential and hospitality projects.
• Stay updated on design trends, materials, and technologies relevant to the UAE market.
• Ensure all designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of design experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the UAE.
• Proven experience in multi-unit residential and hospitality design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions and completed projects.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
