industries, Cambridgeshire-based Oil & Gas Measurement Limited (OGM) seeks
an experienced and highly motivated Design Engineer experienced in drawings
developers and is willing to learn.
OGM produces the highest quality
proprietary components and conducts innovative scientific R&D, in-house
design, prototyping and testing. We are looking for someone who has knowledge
about the Product Creation Process (PCP), Develop drawings using CAD software.
Job function:
•Create, modify, and review detailed technical
drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD Solid Works etc.) based on project
specifications and design concepts.
•Develop drawings from sketches, specifications,
and verbal instructions.
•Maintain organized records of all drawings and
related documentation.
•Constantly enter data into the ERP system.
•Complete assigned tasks in accordance with
established deadlines and project priorities.
•Strictly following the Product Creation Process
(PCP) and the Commercial or K-Order Management as well as other procedures.
Responsible for Products design, review and improvement.
•Ensure projects are carried out according to
project specification and OGSI internal Quality procedures.
•Ensure product design, manufacturing, assembly
and testing are compliant to project specifications from Engineering
perspective
•Interface with the Production/Assembly Team by
taking full design authority via the standard check/approval process and
signing off drawings for production, taking an active role to support and
answer any queries by Production Engineers.
•With the Lead Development Engineer(s), ensure
the PTS/PTR follow the intended PRS, clearly identifying any variation that may
have arose, but being in compliance for the named standards (API/IP/EI/ISO).
•Take ownership from the Project Manager or
Product Lead/Manager to
•Analyse Technical Documentations - including
Operator Reference Guide, Operator Pocket Book, Quick Guide, as well as
Operations, Service and Maintenance Manual and Installation Instruction.
•Act as a Design Authority (DA) for the approval
and release of 3D model designs and other DfM&A drawings - including
Engineering and Manufacturing BOMs.
•Follow the PCP and the Engineering Design
Process (QP03)

subcontractors and other QC personnel.
