JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for preparing high-quality cuisine in a timely and efficient manner. Work under the supervision of Chef De Partie and assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to Jumeirah standard
JOB DETAILS
Job Title: Demi Chef De Partie Grade: 9- Individual Contributor Region: Global Location: Global Function: Food & Beverage Culinary Job Family: Food & Beverage Reports To: Sous Chef Direct Reports: Commis 1, 2 and 3 Financial Accountability: - Assist the Chef de Cuisine/Sous Chef (or any designates) to develop standard recipes which allow the kitchen department to operate at an acceptable cost.
- Assist Chef de Cuisine/Sous Chef (or any designates) to maximize colleagues’ productivity to minimise payroll costs.
- Monitor operating costs and take corrective action when necessary to reduce expenses
