You will oversee demand planning activities for your assigned product families in your business unit. You will also lead the demand review process and driving interactions with the cross-functional teams.


How you will contribute


You will:


  • Lead the demand management agenda for the category, being the key interface between commercial (sales revenue planning) and supply (replenishment) to identify and evaluate the impact of potential availability issues/commercial changes including gap assessment and risk and opportunity discussions
  • Partner with modelling team for the generation of statistical forecasting
  • Manage, coach and develop a team
  • Review standard consumption versus forecast at the customer and total product levels, liaising with replenishment and sales revenue planning to manage potential availability issues and the impact of under consumption
  • Drive strong linkages with the commercial, customer collaboration, modelling, order fulfilment teams and supply planning including innovation and equity
  • Drive continuous capability building in the demand planning team for planning improvement

Role Summary


We are looking for an experienced and driven IBP & Demand Planning Lead to champion the entire Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, including the different IBP cycle stages, while leading a high-performing demand planning team across multiple markets. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, adept at coordinating cross-functional teams to align demand and financial goals.


Key Responsibilities


  • Champion the IBP Process: Drive the Integrated Business Planning process, ensuring effective collaboration between departments (e.g., sales, finance, and operations) at all IBP cycle stages.
  • Lead Demand Planning: Oversee the demand planning function across markets, guiding the team to develop accurate forecasts and analyze demand patterns.
  • Market Alignment: Coordinate with regional teams to ensure alignment of demand planning efforts across various markets, adapting strategies to local requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with finance, marketing, and sales to ensure an integrated and agile planning process that supports business objectives.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs and metrics related to demand planning, using insights to drive continuous improvement and refine planning processes.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data analytics to enhance forecast accuracy, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable insights for business growth.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate IBP meetings, presenting key findings and recommendations to senior leadership, and acting as a key point of contact for all demand planning activities.

Key Requirements


  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in a related field, with proven expertise in leading IBP processes.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of IBP cycle stages, demand planning, and S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) principles.
    • Proven leadership and team management experience.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
    • Proficiency in demand planning tools and ERP systems.
    • Agile mindset, capable of managing change and driving process improvements.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field.
