Job Description
The Manager - Collection is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the debt collection process for Dubai Holding Community Management. This role will play a critical part in ensuring timely revenue collection, minimizing bad debt, and maintaining healthy cash flow for the company. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective debt collection strategies and procedures.
- Lead and manage a team of collection officers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Monitor and analyze collection performance, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular reviews of outstanding debts and prioritize collection efforts accordingly.
- Negotiate payment plans with delinquent customers and resolve disputes amicably.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and prepare regular reports on collection performance.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service, legal, and property management, to ensure seamless collection processes.
- Stay abreast of relevant legislation and regulations related to debt collection in the UAE.
- Implement and maintain a robust system for tracking and reporting on collection activities.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and minimize disputes.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in debt collection, preferably in the real estate or property management industry.
- Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
- Experience with CRM and ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of UAE laws and regulations related to debt collection.
