Job Description

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading international university focused on shaping world-class professionals. Our client is looking to hire an experienced Data Privacy Officer (DPO) to lead a comprehensive data privacy strategy across global operations. This includes ensuring compliance with international data protection regulations and fostering privacy awareness.

- Ensure compliance with global data protection regulations.
- Develop and maintain data privacy policies aligned with best practices.
- Conduct audits and assessments of data protection measures.
- Formulate and implement a global data privacy strategy.
- Advise senior management on data protection risks and strategies.
- Design and deliver data privacy training programs.
- Oversee secure handling, storage, and processing of personal data.
- Develop and manage a data breach response plan.
- Lead data breach investigations and mitigation efforts.
- Ensure compliance with individual data rights and manage related requests.
- Act as the primary contact for data protection authorities.
- Maintain detailed records of data processing activities and incidents.
- Prepare and present data protection compliance reports to senior management.


Requirements- Minimum 10 years of experience in data protection, preferably in a global organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, IT, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional certification in data protection (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of data protection principles and global best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects across time zones.
