We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate data within our systems, ensuring data integrity and assisting with data analysis when required. This role is essential to supporting our company’s information management needs and plays a key part in optimizing our data flow and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Input and update data in various databases, systems, and files accurately and efficiently
- Verify data accuracy by comparing it to source documents
- Correct any inaccuracies and identify discrepancies in the data
- Manage data retrieval requests and ensure timely access to relevant information
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive data
- Perform routine backups to secure data
- Generate reports and assist with data analysis when needed
- Communicate with other departments to clarify data requirements
- Suggest process improvements for data management and workflow optimization
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry or office administration is a plus
- Proven experience in data entry or a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Knowledge of data entry software or CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with basic data analysis principles is beneficial
