Job Description


About the role:

We are looking for detail-oriented data annotators to to analyze search queries and links, review the corresponding content, and answer questions based on their reasoning, according to project guidelines as provided by the client, with the goal of improving the user experience on social media platforms.

 

Freelancer will be assigned tasks within the client’s data annotation platform, where they’ll complete the work, which consists of answering questions about the content they’ve reviewed by either checking boxes or writing short answers. The work will be in Arabic, as the content is localized. It’s possible that the freelancer will be exposed to sensitive content, and if so, they may opt out and move onto the next task.

 

  • The first week of work is intended to familiarize the freelancer with the tasks and expectations - feedback may be provided, and virtual meetings may be requested.
  • Resource should be available for 20-30 hours per week (Monday through Friday, at any time).
  • Tasks will be offered based on the client’s business needs without any guarantees for work, and volume may vary week to week.
  • Freelancers may accept or reject tasks offered by the client based on their availability.


Skills

Qualifications:

  • Fluent Arabic language proficiency is required, as well as a strong command of the English language
  • Consistent access to high-speed internet on the freelancer’s personal device is required (phone or tablet may be acceptable, but a laptop or desktop computer is preferred)
  • Experience with data annotation is preferred but not required
