About the job DATA ANALYST - CRM (MICROSOFT DYNAMICS)
Skilled Data Analyst with deep experience in the insurance domain (policies, customers, claims) and extensive knowledge of Azure data technology and D365 CRM. The role requires close collaboration with IT and business units to gather requirements, provide business analysis, and support the creation of key project documentation, including Functional Specification Documents (FSD), Business Requirements Documents (BRD), and Solution Design Documents (SDD).
The successful candidate will play a critical role in assisting IT with aligning the data strategy to business goals and supporting the adoption of AI and advanced analytics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with IT teams and business units to gather detailed technical and business requirements for data, reporting, and Dynamics 365 CRM initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to capture all requirements for the Data Strategy and D365 CRM.
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications, creating BRD, FSD, and SDD.
- Support the IT team in analyzing current data infrastructures, data flows, and data quality issues.
- Assist in identifying integration needs for structured and unstructured data to enhance the overall data landscape.
- Collaborate with IT in defining the data strategy and roadmap for modernizing data infrastructure, enabling analytics for decision-making.
- Ensure data quality using data profiling and data cleansing tools
- Identify and resolve data quality issues using tools
- Data quality metrics, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and completeness across all data sources.
- Knowledge of data governance and cataloging tools (e.g., Azure Purview, Unity Catalog) is preferred.
- Experience with Data Mesh principles and building data domains is highly desirable
- Assist in enabling self-service analytics for business users.
- Collaborate with business users to define and maintain a comprehensive business glossary, ensuring consistency in terminology across all departments and data domains
Documentation:
- Lead the creation of comprehensive project documentation for FSD, BRD, and SDD, ensuring clarity and alignment with IT and business goals.
- Support the creation of detailed data flow diagrams, architecture blueprints, and governance frameworks that comply with IT standards.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in data analysis, data architecture or related roles with a strong focus on the insurance industry.
- Understanding of Azure data services and Microsoft tools, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Data Lakehouse, Medallion architecture and D365 CRM.
- Prior experience supporting data strategy and D365 CRM projects is beneficial.
- Proficiency in business analysis techniques and creating detailed project documentation (BRD, FSD, SDD).
- Familiarity with data security frameworks and tools for ensuring data quality and compliance.
