Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Team Member to join the dynamic team at Dubai International Airport. As a vital member of the team, you will be the first point of contact for thousands of passengers each day, providing exceptional customer service and assisting them with a range of queries and needs. Your role is crucial in helping to deliver a smooth and seamless passenger experience, while upholding safety, security, and operational standards.
This role involves direct interaction with passengers, as well as collaboration with various service partners to ensure passengers are processed efficiently and safely throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Assistance: Provide high-quality, friendly, and professional customer service to passengers, assisting with information about products, services, and way finding to ensure a smooth journey.
- Problem Solving & Communication: Act as the first point of contact for customer queries and issues. You will be required to quickly assess situations, provide solutions, and resolve any customer concerns or complaints.
- Coordination with Service Partners: Work closely with partners including Police, GDRFA (General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs), and other service providers to ensure passengers are processed in a timely, compliant, and efficient manner.
- Terminal Operations Support: Assist the operations team in maintaining a safe and secure airport environment by identifying and reporting hazards, and ensuring compliance with all operational policies and procedures.
- Briefing & Reporting: Support the preparation of reports and briefings, collect and record relevant information, and complete required administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Educational Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent professional qualification is required.
- Customer Service Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a front-line customer service role, ideally in retail, hospitality, food and beverage, or a similar service-oriented environment.
- Communication Skills: Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic is essential to effectively assist passengers and interact with team members and service partners.
- Problem Solving & Conflict Resolution: Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer queries, resolve conflicts, and maintain a calm, professional demeanour under pressure.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of software and online applications; ability to quickly learn and operate relevant airport systems.
- Teamwork & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams and partners to deliver a seamless passenger experience.
- Safety & Compliance Awareness: Understanding of safety procedures and willingness to adhere to all policies and guidelines, contributing to the overall security and safety of airport operations.
