Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To receive the patients with a pleasant smile and wish them.
- To attend telephone calls politely and strictly adhering to telephone manners.
- To see if the patient is a new patient or an old patient (Already registered).
- To get the information about the nature of illness and guide them to the concerned department.
- To give the registration forms and help them to file and guide them to the concerned doctor.
- If the information is not clear then send the patient to the Customer care dept.
- To collect the reference letters if any.
- To check whether the patient has filled all relevant data in the registration form.
- To make a note on the form and in the computer if the doctor referred was the primary doctor, doctor on call / CMO's reference / reference letter.
- To make an entry of the referred doctor's name and address in the computer.
- To guide the visitors to the concerned room/departments.
- To provide information regarding various preventive medical health checkups.
- To answer various queries of the patient.
- To participate and contribute to departmental quality initiatives to be aware of departments performance and objective.
- To carryout data collection/support in data collection.
- To adhere to the safety norms of hospital and follow both patient safety and staff safety rules.
- To perform any job / task as and when assigned by the superior.
- To assist in basic translation as and when required.

- Familiarize themselves and comply with all EHS and Infection Control policies, standards and procedures that are relevant for their workplace.
- Work in accordance with the environmental health and safety policies procedures.
- Attend applicable departmental EHS training/meetings and take reasonable care of their own health and safety and the environment.
- Take reasonable care for the health and safety of persons and the environment that may be affected by the employee's acts or omissions at the workplace.
- Cooperate with their employer with respect to any action taken by the employer to comply with EHSMS requirements.
- Notify supervisor or Department Safety facilitator of any hazards, environment, health and safety mishaps or incidents within or outside their area of work
