Position overview
The Critical
Facility Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the uninterrupted operation
and maintenance of critical infrastructure and systems within a facility, such
as data centers, telecommunications hubs, power plants, and other
high-reliability environments. This role focuses on the efficient and reliable
operation of mission-critical systems, with an emphasis on preventing,
diagnosing, and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime and optimize
performance.
Requirements- Bachelor's
degree in engineering or a related technical field (electrical, mechanical, or
similar).
- Data
Center Certification (Operational & Maintenance) from Accredited institute.
- Strong
knowledge of critical facility systems, including power distribution, HVAC,
fire suppression, and backup systems.
- Proficiency
in onsite installed control, monitoring S/W knowledge, data center process and
policy, system wide knowledge
- Excellent
problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex
technical issues.
- Effective
communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and
stakeholders.
- Strong
attention to detail and a commitment to following safety protocols.
- Experience
in performing preventive maintenance of systems
- Previous
experience in critical facility operations, data center management, or a
similar role is preferred.
