Credit Services Lead for the UAE Operations Team, you will be a primary point of contact for liaison with all UAE stakeholders, across lines of business, risk, legal, IT, etc. Support the Regional Head of Credit Services & CMU Business Service to deliver an agreed set of business objectives for the UAE market


Role Overview:


•    Deliver the annual demand & forecast plan in the UAE, through liaising with the regional head and key line of business stakeholders.•    Implement and maintain global best practice in accordance with the Business Services Operating Model•    Maintain strong governance of cost and FTE controls to support FRP achievement.•    Ensure that the market delivery service performance is proactively managed to mitigate the impact of fluctuations in volumes so that customer outcomes are protected, and internal stakeholders’ expectations are met.•    Provide the required subject matter expertise to manage the end-to-end Credit and Lending journey.•    Primary contract for transformation and change lead activity for Credit Services, UAE.•    Responsible for executing the global strategy into the UAE and collaborating with Global process owners, local markets, WCL value stream, Transformation, and IT. •    Drive stakeholder engagement to enable the services to transform to enable improve customer outcome, reduce unit cost of operations, whilst managing risk exposure.•    Facilitate an environment that encourages a change mindset to enable paced transformation delivery that results in saves targets being met.•    Identify continuous improvement opportunities to align with the global operating model.•    Lead a team of colleagues in market and inspire a culture of learning to support personal development across the team.•    Develop team members across both country and supporting GSC locations to optimize performance and contribution to team goals.•    Engage teams effectively through clear and effective communication and promotion of a ‘one team’ approach across all supporting sites to drive overall business and customer outcomes.•    Ability to lead, motivate, and develop internal relationships effectively at all levels. •    Collaborative end to end leadership style which enables interdependent outcomes and works across boundaries in an agile and connected manner.•    Primary contact for Audit, Risk stewards & CCO for all risk and control issues for UAE Credit Services. •    Ensure that operational risk targets are met, implement audit points, and continually adhere to Global Standards•    Ensure adherence to standard controls and drive teams to achieve compliance and evidence effective oversight and control monitoring through the end-to-end process•    Proactively identify control risk and control weakness to reduce the exposure of incidents that impact HSBC reputation, adversely impact the customer journey and/or financial loss.
