Role Overview
As a Senior Manager in Credit Risk and Financial Risk Management, you will lead strategic consulting engagements, deliver innovative solutions, and guide clients in navigating complex risk landscapes. You will leverage your expertise in credit risk, financial risk, and regulatory compliance to design frameworks, drive transformation, and enhance decision-making processes for clients across industries. This role involves leading teams, cultivating client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of impactful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement credit and financial risk management strategies for clients.
Advise clients on regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel III/IV, IFRS 9, CECL) and best practices.
Identify emerging risks and opportunities, providing forward-looking insights.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor.
Lead business development efforts, including proposal creation and client presentations.
Understand client needs to design tailored solutions.
Project Management
Oversee multiple consulting engagements, ensuring quality delivery on time and within budget.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute risk assessments, model development, and process improvements.
Monitor and mitigate risks during project execution.
Risk Modeling and Analytics
Guide the development and validation of credit risk models (e.g., PD, LGD, EAD).
Implement advanced analytics techniques, including AI/ML, to enhance risk management capabilities.
Support clients in leveraging technology and data-driven approaches.
Team Leadership and Development
Manage, mentor, and inspire consulting teams to achieve performance goals.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Provide career development and coaching to junior staff.
Thought Leadership
Publish insights on industry trends, risk management innovations, and regulatory developments.
Represent the firm at conferences, forums, and client events as a subject matter expert.

Qualifications and Experience
Education: Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience: 8-12+ years in credit risk, financial risk, or consulting, with a proven track record of leadership roles
Skills:
Deep knowledge of credit risk frameworks, financial risk modeling, and regulatory standards.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Expertise in risk management technologies and data platforms (e.g., SAS, Python, R).
