Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Manages assigned country/region to ensure distributors / Sales partners are meeting the regional sales objectives. 
  • Achieves regional sales operational objectives by preparing and implementing action plans, conducting audits and recommending regional sales system improvements.
  • Build and maintain rapport with customers to expand customer base.
  • Create awareness of products, conduct training and seminars for clients, consultants and sales team.
  • Roll out and execute country and market segment strategies, sales approach and terms and conditions to distributors/ partners on a regular basis.
  • Attends customer / consultant meetings with distributors to assist in the presentation, local trade shows and events and provide feedback to line manager accordingly.
  • Tracks and reports trends, business conditions and account status, which will affect future sales, supports in Sales strategy development for the region Middle East.
  • Performs direct sales when required or for countries, in which no Distributor/Partner is available.  Prepares and presents professional sales presentations as and when required.
  • Establishes a close and harmonious coordination among sales personnel, service, manufacturing engineering, production, partners and distributors and resolves grievances.
  • Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes;
  • Resolves customer concerns and complaints in a timely manner that will create goodwill and future sales.
  • Identifies additional market or new customer potentials and business opportunities.
  • Other tasks as assigned by manager

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following qualifications:


Qualifications/ Requirements


  • Bachelors or Master Degree in Electro-mechanical /Electrical Engineering or related Engineering field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field within the market of critical infrastructure/ infrastructure/ construction & installation/ energy business, or comparable
  • Extended market knowledge about international and Middle East specific engineering codes standard and regulations as well as project specifications applicable for Power Generation segment is preferred.
  • Good experience, understanding and sound knowledge of operation of engines and systems used in Powergen industry. Technical product knowledge.
  • Proven record of building good business relationships with senior management at distributors, customers and consultant organizations.
  • Experience in project execution (technical & commercial) and coordination of complex projects (commercial).
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of contract law desirable.
  • Knowledge in spreadsheet analysis and financial management.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work extended periods without supervision.
  • Willingness to work in teams, also ability to work independently.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of Windows-Office programs.
