In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all air cargo operations within a specific country or region. Your role will typically include the following responsibilities:
Role & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all cargo airline operations in Dubai
- Develop and implement business strategies to expand market presence and revenue
- Build and maintain relationships with airlines, freight forwarders, and logistics partners
- Ensure compliance with IATA, GCAA, and local aviation laws
- Lead business development efforts, identifying new growth opportunities
- Optimize logistics processes and cargo handling efficiency
- Manage the financial performance of the UAE operations
- Supervise and develop a high-performing team

Skills
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Deep understanding of air cargo operations, freight forwarding, and logistics
- Excellent knowledge of IATA and GCAA regulations
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to develop and execute commercial strategies
- Experience in budget management and P&L responsibilities
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Aviation, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in cargo airline operations
- Strong business development and client relationship management skills
- Proficiency in cargo management systems and logistics technologies
