About Dubai Foundation for Women and Children: The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children is the first authorized non-profit shelter and humanitarian care in the United Arab Emirates to care for women and children who are victims of domestic violence, child abuse, and victims of human trafficking. It was established in late 2007 in order to provide victims with immediate shelter, protection and support services, in accordance with international human rights conventions. Consult reference material such as textbooks, manuals, and journals in order to identify symptoms, to make diagnoses, and to develop approaches to treatmentCounsel internal & external clients regarding problems such as stress and family situations, in order to modify behaviour and/or to improve personal, social, and vocational adjustmentEvaluate the effectiveness of counselling or treatments, and the accuracy and completeness of diagnoses, then modify plans and diagnoses as necessaryObserve individuals in group interactions or in other contexts to detect indications of mental deficiency, abnormal behaviour, or maladjustment. A Bachelor Degree in Psychology or any relevant major pertaining to Psychology Services such as Counselling, Social Work, etc.
