Job Title: Cost Controller
Job Overview: We are looking for a Cost Controller to manage and optimize the financial efficiency of our boutique hotel, including its two restaurants and one C bar. The role involves monitoring expenses, ensuring cost-effective operations, and supporting the hotel’s financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and control the costs of goods sold, including food, beverages, and supplies.
- Conduct regular inventory counts for the hotel, restaurants, and bar.
- Analyze and report on food and beverage costs to identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to maintain budgeted cost levels.
- Assist in setting and maintaining pricing strategies.
- Ensure accurate cost reporting and help with monthly financial closing processes.
- Monitor supplier contracts and negotiate better deals when possible.
- Identify waste and recommend improvements to reduce unnecessary costs.
- Help with the preparation of financial reports for management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar cost control role, preferably in hospitality.
- Strong understanding of cost control and inventory management.
- Proficiency in Excel and other financial software.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
