Corporate Communications Officer
Location: Dubai, AE A. POSITION PURPOSE:
To edit, proofread and create content for the organisation.
B. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
Develops content and directs creative execution to provide a consistent, targeted and impactful message.
Builds and maintains solid partnerships with assigned internal clients to better develop, coordinate, direct and facilitate strategic communications designed to meet business goals. Designs campaigns to target specific audiences, placing an emphasis and discipline on campaign performance to help with recommendations for future programs. Contributes ideas for new programmes, researching and recommending innovative branding techniques. Ensures all communication and marketing material are up to date and in a consistent tone of voice. Researches and understands key business challenges, customer behaviour, target audiences, competitive activity and environmental factors that impacts programs within the business and assigned departments. Identifies and presents opportunities for consistency in messaging and customer experience across channels from in-store signage to digital to print. Develops an understanding of short and long-term department goals and planned initiatives. Works on developing and implementing an ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) strategy along with Senior Manager-Corporate Communications & Investor Relations Stays informed of developments in the field of marketing and communications within the industry to foster ideas and innovation. Ad hoc assignments as required by the immediate line of authority
C. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelor’s degree in Media Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in Corporate Communications, Public Relations or similar role. Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships. Familiarity with content management systems and digital marketing tools. Strong organisational and planning skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Creative thinker with a proven ability to contribute innovative ideas. Meticulous attention to detail in writing, editing and proofreading.* Proactive approach to project management and ownership of assigned tasks.
