Location: Dubai, AE Overview of the role
As part of Al-Futtaim’s Corporate Communications team, you will have a passion for all things design. Collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, you will help to create visually compelling and emotionally engaging content across our full spectrum of corporate communications channels. Provides visual communications support to Al-Futtaim, developing and executing visual corporate communication assets in the style and spirit of the brand using a mix of creative skills, Works across the business to develop and deliver upon design briefs by gathering information and data to clarify communications objectives, Delivers creative and visual content across a wide range of platforms on a day-to-day basis including print, website, intranet, social media content, email, presentations, brochures, reports and events, Keeps abreast and shares developments and trends in design and design software amongst the wider team. Acts as a brand ambassador, actively supporting Al-Futtaim’s corporate brand guidelines; working to achieve consistency of messaging, ‘look & feel’ and helping to infuse the brand purpose, vision and values across the organization. Ensures that all designs and logos align with the brand visual identity guidelines, Ensures the group brand and visual identity guidelines are regularly kept up to date, and keep pace with the latest group developments. Drive brand and VI compliance and governance across the organisation, Deploy and champion long-term vision for a harmonized and consistent brand and visual language across the organization. Al-Futtaim Group Corporate Communications Departments All Al-Futtaim Group Divisions: Automotive, Retail, Real Estate, Financial Services, Healthcare, AFEF, Blue, and Corporate Services (HR, Emiratisation, EIT) Creativity: Ability to generate innovative design solutions that align with the brand's identity and guidelines Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail, ensuring that all designs are polished and professional. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and divisions and incorporate diverse perspectives into design work. Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities. Strategic Thinking: Ability to understand the broader business context and design accordingly to support corporate and business objectives. Relevant Degree or Diploma in graphic design or digital design, visual communications or related study Solid experience in creative content development: 5 years+ of relevant design and creative content experience in an in-house or agency environment, Proven experience in design and creative content development; strong track-record in translating creative ideas into visuals, This role demands great attention to detail, the ability to work to strict deadlines and under pressure. Effective stakeholder management skills are essential. Excellent graphic, writing and communication skills; Fluency in English is an essential requirement with the ability to translate complex ideas into accessible, clear communications and design thinking. Strong communication skills with the ability to present and explain design concepts to non-design stakeholders. Experience working in brand logos design, visual identity guidelines development and brand management. Professional working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) Professional working knowledge of Microsoft Office Proficiency in using a range of web / intranet / social media content management systems, standards and best-practices for site design, function and usability Proficiency in managing and creating content for social media platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube Video editing and/or animation ability Knowledge of printing and production is essential. Mobile/responsive web design experience an advantage. Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript an advantage Strong organizational and time management skills Awareness of latest trends and techniques in visual arts and best practices Positive, enthusiastic attitude to pursue ideas that inspire action. * Enjoy working as part of a global, dynamic and hardworking team which is dedicated to delivering high-quality and impactful work.
