About The Job:


An opportunity has arisen for a Coordinator to join Housekeeping Department in Jumeirah Living WTCR. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:


Main Duties:


  • Provide constant monitoring of the service standards and cleaning standards of the Housekeeping Colleagues.
  • Execute classroom training as well as on the job training and corrective coaching
  • Train and develop all Housekeeping Colleagues, regularly review the training results and needs with Assistant Executive Housekeepers.
  • Constantly spot check Housekeeping Colleagues to maintain standards applied and assist in taking various inventories.
  • To follow-up on all out of order rooms and to ensure that all equipment is well maintained and handled correctly.
  • To conduct inspections of corridors, service areas, pantries, staircases and Public Area toilets to ensure proper cleaning.
  • To take note of “In house VIP’s and arriving VIP’s.
  • To ensure that all suites and rooms are inspected thoroughly.
  • To handle guest complaints in accordance with the hotel policy, reporting all complaints to the Assistant Executive Housekeeper and check the Logbooks and follow up on outstanding matters.
  • To know the hotels policy relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety and pass on the suggestions, comments and recommendations of the guests to the Executive Housekeeper.
  • To respond to any changes in the housekeeping function as dictated by the Industry, Company or Hotel.

About you:


The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:


  • To be considered for this role you will have at least two years of working experience in a similar role in a luxury five-star hotel environment.
  •  Handling guest complaints at highest service levels
  •  Knowledgeable of all in-house services as well as local information
