About the job COO Agriculture
We are seeking four our client a highly experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee their operations and procedures within the agriculture industry. You will be responsible for the efficiency of the business, which includes maintaining control of diverse business operations, so we expect you to be an experienced and efficient leader with excellent people skills, business acumen, and exemplary work ethics.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures
- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
- Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
- Forster a reputable image to external stakeholders and clients
- Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance etc.)
- Increase in Agriculture yield per unit
- Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
- Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
- Reduction in operational costs while maintaining or improving efficiency
- Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance
- Assist CEO in fundraising ventures
- Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)
- Manage relationships with partners/vendors
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
- Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
Experience:
- Previous experience successfully managing a complex enterprise's operations within the agriculture sector is essential.
- Master in economy, finance or agriculture
- Proven experience 15+ years in a senior management role within the agriculture or Investment industry
- Proven experience in organizational development, personnel management, budget and resource development, and strategic planning.
- Regular office hours with frequent farm visits and inspections.
- Some travel may be required for business meetings, conferences, and industry-related events.
