Consultant Surgical Oncologist

As a Consultant Surgical Oncologist, your primary responsibility will be to perform surgical procedures on cancer patients, along with diagnosing and managing their conditions throughout the treatment journey. You will collaborate closely with other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care and contribute to the ongoing development of surgical oncology standards.

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients with suspected or diagnosed cancer
• Execute complex surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Coordinate with the oncology team to establish individualized treatment plans
• Monitor and manage post-operative recovery, addressing any complications that arise
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and refine patient treatment strategies
• Engage in research and stay abreast of advancements in surgical techniques and oncology
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment options and aftercare
