Job Description
Diagnose and treat traumatic injuries, fractures, musculoskeletal disorders, and degenerative diseases affecting bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles. Perform orthopedic surgeries, including fracture fixation, joint replacement, arthroscopy, and soft tissue repair. Provide both emergency trauma care (e.g., trauma stabilization, fracture management) and elective orthopedic procedures (e.g., joint arthroplasty, spinal surgery). Manage postoperative care and rehabilitation of patients, ensuring optimal recovery and functional outcomes. Provide consultations for patients with complex orthopedic and trauma cases, including pre-operative assessments and development of personalized treatment plans. Work closely with other specialists, including anesthesiologists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation teams, to ensure comprehensive care for patients. Advise on the prevention and management of sports injuries, musculoskeletal pain, and age-related orthopedic conditions such as arthritis. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in orthopedic surgery, treatment modalities, and technologies. Participate in clinical research, trials, or academic activities related to trauma and orthopedic surgery. Educate patients and their families on surgical and non-surgical treatment options, rehabilitation, and lifestyle changes. Supervise and mentor junior orthopedic surgeons, residents, and other healthcare staff. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records, complying with healthcare regulations and standards.
