Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough oral examinations and assess patients' medical histories to determine the nature of their conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including biopsies and imaging studies, to form accurate diagnoses.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, addressing complex oral health issues such as oral lesions, cancers, and TMJ disorders.
- Perform minor surgical procedures as necessary, ensuring patients receive the highest level of care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to facilitate comprehensive patient management.
- Remain current with the latest research and developments in oral medicine to continually improve patient outcomes.
- Educate patients on oral health issues and preventive care strategies to enhance their overall well-being.
