Role Overview
As a Consultant Specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of surgical cases, including trauma, reconstructive surgery, and oral pathology. Your expertise will be vital in creating individualized treatment plans and performing intricate surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose patients with conditions affecting the mouth, jaw, and face.
- Perform surgical procedures including but not limited to wisdom teeth removals, corrective jaw surgery, and facial reconstruction.
- Collaborate with dental and medical colleagues to develop comprehensive care plans for patients.
- Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, recovery processes, and post-operative care.
- Stay current on advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgical practices through ongoing education and professional development.
- Maintain a high standard of patient safety and care throughout all surgical procedures.
