Responsibilities

- Order and interpret necessary diagnostic tests, such as laboratory blood work, imaging studies, and kidney biopsies
- Diagnose and manage conditions such as chronic kidney disease, hypertension, and kidney stones
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication regimens and recommendations for dialysis or transplantation as appropriate
- Monitor patient progress and manage any complications that arise from kidney disorders
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
