In this role, you will provide expert-level care for patients diagnosed with cancer. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient conditions, designing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to foster comprehensive patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed assessments of patients’ medical histories, symptoms, and perform physical examinations.
- Order and analyze diagnostic tests, including biopsies, blood tests, and imaging studies to accurately diagnose forms of cancer.
- Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and advancements in medical oncology.
- Administer a range of treatments including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy, and other targeted therapies.
- Monitor patient progress and manage complications or side effects arising from treatments.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient treatment and support.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and stay abreast of new research and treatment options in the field of oncology.
