SearchPlus HR is inviting applications for the position of Consultant/Specialist in Maternal and Fetal Medicine. This role is essential for providing expert care to expectant mothers and their unborn children, particularly in high-risk pregnancies.
As a Consultant/Specialist in Maternal and Fetal Medicine, you will conduct detailed assessments, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and develop personalized care plans to ensure the health and safety of both mothers and babies. Your expertise will be vital in offering comprehensive prenatal care, conducting high-level diagnostic interventions, and managing complex cases.
Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced ultrasounds and diagnostic imaging to monitor fetal development
- Assess and manage pregnancies at high risk for complications
- Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and other specialists to provide comprehensive care
- Provide counseling and support to patients and their families regarding risks and treatment options
- Conduct and interpret laboratory tests pertinent to maternal and fetal health
- Address any complications that arise during pregnancy and initiate necessary interventions
- Educate patients on prenatal care, healthy pregnancy practices, and delivery preparations
- Engage in research and clinical trials that advance the field of maternal and fetal medicine
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
