In the role of Consultant/Specialist, you will leverage your extensive knowledge and clinical experience to diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of adult medical conditions. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimize treatment strategies and enhance the overall patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough medical evaluations and physical assessments of adult patients
- Diagnose acute and chronic illnesses while providing evidence-based treatment options
- Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests and procedures
- Develop personalized treatment plans in conjunction with patients and care teams
- Prescribe medications and lifestyle modifications to improve patient health
- Monitor ongoing patient care and adjust plans based on progress
- Educate patients about their medical conditions and treatment options
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical records
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current in Internal Medicine
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) and a current valid license to practice Internal Medicine
- Completed residency training in Internal Medicine
- Demonstrated experience in clinical practice and managing diverse medical conditions
- Strong familiarity with evidence-based guidelines and standards of care
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative healthcare team
- Detail-oriented with well-developed organizational skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
