SearchPlus HR is actively seeking an experienced Consultant/Specialist in Internal Medicine to join our esteemed healthcare consulting team. This role is pivotal in providing high-level medical expertise and improving patient care outcomes for our client organizations.
As a Consultant/Specialist in Internal Medicine, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and managing a variety of complex medical conditions affecting adult patients. You will conduct thorough assessments, interpret diagnostic tests, provide evidence-based treatments, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure the highest quality of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed patient assessments to understand medical history and current health status
- Diagnose and formulate treatment plans for a range of acute and chronic diseases
- Order and interpret lab tests and imaging studies to guide clinical decisions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care plans
- Prescribe necessary medications and treatments based on best practices
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and modify treatment protocols as needed
- Educate patients on health management strategies and preventive care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation for compliance and quality assurance
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of advancements in Internal Medicine
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) and active state medical license in Internal Medicine
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine
- Demonstrated experience in managing a wide spectrum of adult medical conditions
- In-depth knowledge of evidence-based guidelines and standards in Internal Medicine
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
