Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of adult patients, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures as necessary.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare teams.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and recommend lifestyle adjustments.
- Monitor ongoing patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding health management and preventive care.
- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate health records.
- Engage in continuous education to stay updated on advancements in Internal Medicine.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with a valid license to practice as an Internal Medicine Consultant/Specialist.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine.
- Demonstrable experience in diagnosing and treating complex medical conditions in adult patients.
- Strong understanding of current evidence-based practices in Internal Medicine.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
