As a Consultant/Specialist in Hepatology at SearchPlus HR, you will provide expert medical care for patients with a variety of liver-related diseases. Your role will be crucial in diagnosing, treating, and managing conditions to enhance patient health and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough evaluations of patients’ medical histories and conduct thorough hepatological examinations
- Order and analyze diagnostic testing, including liver function tests, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and liver biopsies
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of liver diseases, such as hepatitis, cirrhosis, and liver cancer
- Design and implement tailored treatment plans, including medication, lifestyle modifications, and referrals for specialty care when necessary
- Monitor patient progress and manage any complications arising from liver diseases
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive healthcare solutions for patients
- Engage in ongoing education to remain current with the latest advancements and best practices in hepatology
