In the role of Consultant/Specialist Hand Surgeon, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating conditions such as fractures, nerve injuries, and tendon tears. You will develop personalized treatment plans, perform intricate surgical procedures, and work collaboratively with a network of healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and precise diagnoses of hand and upper extremity disorders.
- Craft individualized treatment strategies that align with patients' needs and medical history.
- Perform a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to microsurgery, carpal tunnel release, and tendon repair.
- Integrate advanced surgical techniques to improve recovery times and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with physical and occupational therapists to promote comprehensive patient rehabilitation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of innovations in hand surgery and participate in ongoing professional education.
