As a Consultant/Specialist Cardiovascular Surgeon, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough evaluations of patients to determine the need for surgical intervention
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic imaging and tests such as angiograms and echocardiograms
- Formulating precise diagnoses and individualized treatment plans for cardiac conditions
- Performing complex cardiac surgeries including but not limited to coronary artery bypass surgery and valve replacement
- Managing pre-operative and post-operative care to ensure optimal patient recovery
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Participating in continuing education to stay abreast of advancements in the field of cardiovascular surgery
