As a Consultant Pulmonologist, you will engage in comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement effective treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including history-taking, physical examinations, and assessment of diagnostic tests
- Diagnose conditions like asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and lung cancer
- Create individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs
- Perform procedures such as bronchoscopy and manage patients on long-term ventilatory support
- Work alongside a team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families about respiratory health and disease management
