SearchPlus HR is excited to announce an opening for a Consultant Pediatric Hematology Oncologist. In this pivotal role, you will provide expert consultancy in the diagnosis and management of pediatric patients suffering from complex hematologic and oncologic disorders.
As a Consultant Pediatric Hematology Oncologist, you will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver specialized medical care, lead case reviews, and develop comprehensive treatment strategies tailored to each patient’s needs. You will also play a key role in educating and mentoring junior staff and collaborating with community health initiatives aimed at improving pediatric health outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Consult with healthcare professionals regarding the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric hematological and oncological conditions
- Oversee the development and implementation of evidence-based treatment protocols and guidelines
- Provide direct patient care and monitor treatment effectiveness
- Conduct educational sessions and training for medical staff and residents
- Engage with family members to discuss treatment options and provide psychosocial support
- Participate in research initiatives and contribute to the body of knowledge in Pediatric Hematology Oncology
- Ensure compliance with relevant medical regulations and standards
