In this critical role, you will offer specialized care to pregnant women and their unborn children, focusing on high-risk pregnancies and fetal abnormalities.
You will be a pivotal member of a multidisciplinary team, responsible for assessing and managing complex maternal and fetal conditions, performing advanced imaging and diagnostic procedures, and developing individualized care plans. Your expertise will significantly improve health outcomes for both mothers and babies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and ultrasounds to assess maternal and fetal health
- Manage high-risk pregnancies and develop tailored treatment plans
- Coordinate care with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare specialists
- Perform procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling
- Provide education and counseling to patients and families about risks, management, and care options
- Monitor the progress of pregnancies and implement interventions as necessary
- Engage in clinical research and trials in the field of maternal and fetal medicine
- Maintain thorough documentation of consultations, treatments, and patient progress
