As a Consultant or Specialist in Hepatology at SearchPlus HR, you will be instrumental in diagnosing and managing liver-related diseases. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the health and recovery of our clients, ensuring they receive top-tier medical care tailored to their individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' medical histories, symptoms, and perform detailed hepatological assessments
- Order and analyze diagnostic tests, including but not limited to liver function tests, imaging studies, and liver biopsies
- Diagnose and manage a range of liver conditions such as viral hepatitis, fatty liver disease, and cirrhosis
- Formulate tailored treatment plans, including medication regimens and referrals for advanced interventions such as liver transplantation
- Monitor patient progress and manage complications associated with liver disease, ensuring optimal recovery
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in hepatology through ongoing professional education
