In this role, you will be pivotal in providing high-level specialized care to patients suffering from various gastrointestinal diseases. This position demands thorough patient evaluations, diagnostic proficiency, treatment planning, and the ability to provide ongoing patient management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' medical histories and gastrointestinal symptoms.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including but not limited to endoscopies and imaging studies.
- Diagnose and manage a wide variety of gastrointestinal disorders, such as irritable bowel syndrome, hepatitis, and gastrointestinal malignancies.
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans, considering both medical and lifestyle interventions.
- Perform endoscopic procedures and ensure patient safety during interventions.
- Coordinate with healthcare team members to facilitate quality patient care across disciplines.
- Stay informed on the latest advancements in gastroenterology and related fields through continuous professional development.
