Job Description
We are a dynamic and multi-faceted German owned and managed company seeking a talented and experienced Construction Project Supervisor / Coordinator to join our team. Our main business is IT, however we operate across various sectors, offering a diverse and challenging work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve minor issues potentially with your own hands-on skills
- Oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion
- Ensure all projects meet quality standards and deadlines
- Develop and maintain project schedules
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Prepare and review technical drawings and plans
- Identify and resolve any issues or defects in a timely manner
- Research about construction materials
Skills
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry
- Proficient computer skills (MS Office and Excel in particular, Mail, construction software)
- Ability to create simple technical drawings
- Valid driver’s license is a plus
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken
Technical Knowledge:
- Comprehensive understanding of construction tools and equipment
- Knowledge of building systems, such as HVAC and plumbing
- Experience with painting and plastering
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems
- Expertise in quality control and defect detection
- Construction Materials expertise
