Overview:
As a Configuration Analyst at Cigna, you will support the Configuration and Implementation Manager in driving functional improvements and delivering exceptional software solutions. You will assist in identifying problem statements, documenting detailed requirements, and collaborating with business and development teams to meet customer expectations using Agile methodology. Your strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills will be essential in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
System Configuration and Optimization:
Assist in configuring software to support Cigna "to-be" business processes, ensuring efficient and effective system operation.
Support day-to-day activities of the system configuration including setting up data fields, tables, and workflows.
Provide support to development and QA teams throughout the full lifecycle of any programme/project.
Work with teams to identify, develop, and implement required configuration and methodology to support business needs within project timeframes.
Assist in running and delivering reports/metrics as required.
Support configuration management audits, including evaluations on processes and procedures to improve productivity.
Identify opportunities to enhance system usage through in-depth analysis and process optimization.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing regular data validation and cleanup activities.
Training and Knowledge Improvement:
Assist in delivering functional demonstrations to stakeholders to collect immediate feedback, approvals, and sign-off.
Support the creation and conduct of interactive training, raising knowledge of the applications or recent changes.
Miscellaneous:
Capture and document functional requirements across multiple simultaneous initiatives into clear, easy-to-understand artifacts.
Support process-fitting workshops at various Cigna locations, fostering collaboration and alignment with business needs.
Conduct regular stakeholder calls to report on successes and challenges.
Ability to structure and present well thought out proposals for alternative approaches to influence change
Ability to apply Critical Thinking to requirements or instructions to challenge the norms and find the most optimal approach to achieve business and company goals
Key Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field.
Strong management and stakeholder communication skills.
Proficient in capturing and documenting functional requirements.
Skilled in system configuration and process optimization.
Experience in delivering training and facilitation workshops.
Experience with Agile methodology and full lifecycle project delivery.
Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong team player with a focus on achieving results collaboratively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, Jira, SharePoint.
